AC Condensers

If you are driving down the road in Pontiac and your AC fails, it may be your condenser. The condenser looks like a large black square and is usually mounted in front of the radiator. Like radiators and evaporators, condensers are constructed as a series of tubes with fins around them. But unlike an evaporator, whose job is to absorb heat, the condenser's job is to release the heat your refrigerant absorbed while it was flowing through the evaporator, very much the same way the radiator releases the heat from engine coolant that the coolant absorbed while it was flowing through the engine. A car's condenser also removes unwanted debris from the cooling system.

Took my vehicle to Great Lakes Auto Repair for an oil leak. They verified my concern, (valve cover gaskets) They went over and above to fix my vehicle at a very reasonable price. Found my new repair shop. They are the best, would recommend them to anyone with confidence. Five Stars! quotes-image

I have done my car and daughters cars for years. Brakes, Tune ups, Battery, window motors, but I can't do a rear main bearing seal. Neither can the master mechanic I use when I can't do a job. He said he would pass but said expect about a $2200 est. That's what the Dealer wanted! Well my car runs great and not ONE drop of oil has leaked in 6 weeks since I picked up my car from you! And at $1200 for a 10 hour 2 man job you did me a huge favor, thanks is an understatement. You restored my faith in people being decent to one another as well as fixed my car.quotes-image
